CTIS began as a complementary business in 1985 to Ray's then main business started in 1977, CycleTime Company, a Los Angeles motorcycle and motor scooter sales and service business.
In March 2003, after over 25 years in business, Ray closed the motorcycle business and continued the insurance business, where to this day Ray primarily writes motorcycle coverage. CTIS provides free quotes and writes policies through out California from its West Los Angeles office location.
